Traditionally, email messages have been forwarded by including them in a new message. This has some advantages, but it somewhat blurs the line between the new and the forwarded message, and replying to the original message can become awkward.

Forward emails as inline messages and not as attachments in Thunderbird (2 solutions!!)
Forwarding messages as attachments solves these problems elegantly. In Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape and Mozilla it is easy to forward as a MIME attachment.
