How to change your password in Outlook 2016 for Windows
This video shows you how to change your SMTP and IMAP server passwords in Outlook 2016 for Windows in the even that you change your password to your account.

Here are the written instructions:

1. Open Outlook.
2. Click /”File/” in the top left hand corner.
3. Under /”Info/” click the tile that says /”Account Settings/” then click /”Account Settings…/” in the drop-down. A new window will appear.
4. Select the email account that you want to change.
5. Click the /”Change…/” button next to the repair and new buttons. A new window will appear.
6. Locate the password field at the bottom of the window and change it to your new password.
7. Click /”Next/” and Outlook will perform a check to make sure your account is set up correctly. Once it’s finished, click /”Close/”. NOTE: If this step fails, try typing in your password again.
8. A new window will appear. Click the /”Finish/” button.
9.Exit out of the account settings window and you’re all done! It already sent a test email so you do not have to manually do so.
