How to stop Skype from starting automatically in Windows 10 [Tutorial]
By default, Skype opens automatically every time your computer starts and you log in to your user account. When you disable Skype on startup, you have to open it manually the first time you want to use it after starting your computer. Once open, it remains open as usual – and messages and calls can come in – until you log out or close it.
Select the three-dot menu (it's next to your name on the main page).
For the default program, toggle Start Skype automatically to off (the button will be greyed out).
