How to use Google Docs strikethrough
You've probably seen strikethrough text—text that has a line through it—on blog posts and other online content. Google Docs users have a couple of ways to use strikethrough in Google Docs.
How to strike through text in Google Docs isn't immediately obvious when looking at the toolbars available in an open document. That's because there are two ways to accomplish this:
Start in an open Google Docs document and select the text you want to strike through. You can do this by clicking and dragging from the beginning where you want to strike through to the end of the selection.
