The publication

Editorial standards

How Knowligent prepares, presents and maintains practical technology guidance.

What we publish

We publish practical explanations supported by primary documentation. Each guide lists supporting sources and the date the documentation was checked. Product features and menus can change; a check date is not a promise that every operating-system release has been physically tested.

Research and AI assistance

AI supports research, drafting and illustration construction. References and numerical examples are checked during preparation, but this process is not a substitute for hands-on device testing. We distinguish documentation-based explanations, illustrative scenarios and actual measurements. No invented expert profiles or fabricated test results are used.

Examples and calculations

Scenarios and diagrams are original explanatory materials. Hypothetical numbers are marked as illustrative, and planning tools show their units and assumptions. A theoretical transfer time does not measure your internet speed; a storage estimate does not prove recoverability.

Safer instructions

We explain prerequisites and rollback limits. Formatting, resetting and account changes require care; follow the current instructions for your own device. We do not advise bypassing security, using untrusted recovery software or making destructive changes as a first diagnostic step.

Sources, images and corrections

We summarize supporting documentation in our own words and link it. Original diagrams are labeled. Cover photography is selected from third-party libraries under the stated license, credited with its source and used for illustration; it is not evidence of a product test or endorsement. Instructional screenshots appear beside the relevant operation, with source credit and version notes. Captions distinguish vendor interface examples from direct captures of our working tools. We do not present vendor screenshots or third-party articles as our own. Send a correction with the guide address, the disputed passage, the device or software version and a supporting source.

Advertising and editorial choices

Advertising may be configured by the site operator in separate placements. Commercial code must not be presented as a guide step, tool result or download control. Advertising does not change our source references or the boundaries of an explanation. We do not promise advertising approval or income.
